Special Event Nannies

Inviting young children to an event such as a wedding, christening or business conference can be problematic, should children be invited and if so, should they be left to their own devices?
South East Event Childcare offers you the solution. A bespoke service of  hand picked, experienced professional Event nannies or wedding nannies offering parents the flexibility of having a private Nanny for that special day. For a minimum of 4 hours your children can enjoy the benefits of a hand picked, qualified, experienced, approved Nanny to play, entertain and supervise the children.

Sarah and her team provided wonderful entertainment all day for babies to twelve year olds at our wedding, keeping them entertained with arts and crafts, games and also supervising their dinner in a separate dinning room from the main wedding breakfast. Our  Event Nanny/ Wedding Nanny Service is idea for small groups of children or family bookings. For events involving 25 or more children we would suggest a Mobile Creche Service.

South East Childcare works to EYFS Ofsted rules and regulations. On booking we will require final numbers and ages of the children attending to correctly staff the event. as we work to the following staff to children ratio:

Staff to children ratios:
Under 2 years 1:3
2 – 3 years old 1:4
3 – 7 years 1:8

Wedding Busy bags
South East Childcare can offer your little guests pre- filled party bags to take home or enjoy through the wedding service.  This bespoke service means we can source a gift or a range of gifts suitable for your party/event/wedding budget. Bags start from just £5.00 upwards. We are happy to work to themes or colours!

Children’s Entertainment
South East Childcare offers a Childrens Magic show, close up magic, Punch and Judy and Balloon Modelling. This service is very popular after the children have had there tea.

Balloons
Balloons are a fantastic gift for children to take away after an event/wedding balloons include foil characters and latex balloons. Balloon arches, clusters and other decorations are available on request.

Mobile Crèche

A mobile crèche is a specialist service which offers the most flexible childcare for your special event or wedding day. The concept is still fairly new, but it is a great option to ensure peace of mind for parents, with the flexibility that they will be able to visit the children at any time.

Our wedding or event childcare team will arrive at the venue of your choice, to create a safe, creative, fun environment for children aged 0 – 7 years old. We can transform a room into an imaginative haven where children will love to be. We will provide a full range of toys, play equipment, and creative activities, keeping them busy. But we will also have a chill-out space where they can calm down during a long day, and a place to have meals and snacks too.

Children over 8 will be considered when the crèche is booked depending on the staff to child ratio.

Using South East Events Childcare was one of the best decisions we made in the organisation of our entire wedding. We had 150 guests and 35 children aged from 4 weeks to 7 years.  With SEC the kids had a great time with a variety of activities to suit all ages (even a quiet room for the very youngest with good carers), which freed the parents to enjoy themselves during the wedding breakfast and speeches.  Our friends really kicked back, knowing that their kids were in safe hands and having as much fun as they were.  We’d told friends that there was childcare, but this exceeded all of their expectations.  Some parents looked visibly lighter than we’d seen them look in a long time.SEC’s knowledge in all aspects of childcare was invaluable throughout the planning and on the day, as was their experience in knowing what would actually keep the children happy.  They ensured that costs were always kept to a minimum, but without compromising on what we wanted, and what was needed, and were organised and a pleasure to deal with from the first phone call onwards. It was no coincidence that the largest applause during the ‘thank you’ speeches was for the childcare from all of the parents.
